-
We believe and confess the Triune
God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe and confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord and Savior and the Gospel is the power of
God for the salvation of all who believe.
-
We accept the canonical Scriptures of
the Old and New Testaments as the written Word of God.
-
We accept the Apostles’, Nicene, and
Athanasian Creeds as true confessions of the faith of
this congregation.
-
We accept the confessional writings
of the Lutheran Church as valid interpretations of the
faith of the Church.

We believe and confess the Gospel,
the good news, as the power of God to create and sustain
the Church of God’s mission in and for the world.

VALUE STATEMENTS: What We
Practice |
| |
- A commitment of
the Body of Christ. Learning to
use our spiritual gifts for the common good of our
congregation and the whole Body of Christ in the World.
Being a church, which is developing around the gospel of
Jesus Christ and its witness to the world. We are
committed to provide a center of worship for our members
and community.
|
| |
- A commitment to
prayer. Prayer is our response to
the grace of Christ in our lives and activities. Prayer
is an integral part of the conception, planning and
execution of all our goals and ministries.
|
| |
- A commitment to
lay ministry. As a community of
ministers we are called to seek and equip every person
to dedicate their lives to the care and redemption of
all that God has made. We envision this congregation to
be lay-driven.
|
| |
- A commitment to
witness. To witness the good news
of the existence of the life-creating Word of God, Jesus
Christ, to the world and church. We are committed to
witness through love, understanding, tolerance, patience
and friendship.
|
| |
- A commitment of
spiritual growth. Spiritual growth
is recognizing and expanding our relationship with
Christ. We are committed to nurturing that relationship
through spiritual creativity and innovation within our
mission vision and values.
|
|
- A commitment to
service. A compassionate, caring
ministry which stands with others in need. We commit to
being good stewards in a world entrusted to us by God.
